Nike LeBron Monopoly Shoe Release Event

What We Did
Lebron James and Nike created a special edition Monopoly Game and shoe and in celebration, our agency partners and Nike created a one-of-a-kind Monopoly-themed community event in LeBron’s hometown of Akron, Ohio. The event was centered around promoting financial literacy and featured custom activations and shoe releases for 6th-8th graders at Lebron’s I Promise School. We were brought on to amplify the reach of the event online and we collaborated with a student reporter to add an authentic voice to the piece. Our creative direction focused on storytelling that connected Monopoly and LeBron with Akron’s community while highlighting key moments from the event, exclusive LeBron 22 shoe drops and interviews with attendees in a fast-paced, social-ready video that lived on Nike’s TikTok account.
Our Impact
Our main video earned over 193K TikTok views, amplifying the event’s message and showcasing the powerful connection between LeBron, Nike and Akron.
