Google Pixel X NBA All-Star Events
What We Did
Google Pixel took over NBA All-Star Weekend with activations that connected Pixel’s next-level tech with basketball culture. For our third consecutive NBA All-Star, Zero Blitz was brought on by our agency partners to bring Pixel’s activations to life on social. We kicked off the campaign by collaborating with legendary basketball trainers Lethal Shooter and Chris Brickley to shoot and edit a promotional piece that highlighted how Google Pixel’s Gemini AI features were preparing them for their H.O.R.S.E game that was going to be played at Google’s activation. We managed an on-site team of 9 creatives, turning around real-time content for athletes, influencers and Pixel while showcasing Pixel tech and driving hype for activations including a robot basketball hoop and 2 Chainz concert. Once the events were over, we created sizzle edits recapping all the best moments for use on social and in internal case studies.
Our Impact
Our announcement video with Lethal Shooter and Chris Brickley generated nearly 600K views and our content team helped deliver over 20 unique posts for Pixel, influencers and athletes including A’ja Wilson, Kelsey Plum and fashion influencer Jocelyn Hu over the course of NBA All-Star Weekend. Our promotional content helped drive thousands of people to attend Google Pixel’s activations and stand out in a crowded brand landscape at NBA All-Star.
